Dear colleagues,

Thank you for having participated in the 2012 European Day of Languages and for having entered details of your event/s in the EDL calendar of activities. We truly hope you had a wonderful day and that your event was a major success. 2012  proved to be the most successful EDL to date with over 650 events registered in the EDL calendar of activities. To further improve activities in the future we would be delighted if you would share your experience with us.

1) If you have not already done so, we would be very grateful if you could send us a few images which we can include in our 2012 EDL picture gallery. Please also send us a short text that we can put next to the image describing the event.

2) We are preparing a new section on the EDL site where teachers can look for activities and materials that they can use in school/in class. If you have some great material or idea that you would be happy to share with your colleagues around the world it would be great if you could send this to us. All we need is

- a very short description (1-2 sentences)
- a longer description (all the teacher needs to know about it)
- a title
- the main language being used
- the name of the author (if you wish your name to be published on our site) (please make sure to have the authors permission to put the material onto our website BEFORE you send it to us)
- estimated length of the activity
- appropriate age of students
- the downloadable materials in pdf or word format (if there are any) or a link to a website

3) Please let us know if you have any suggestions for us for further improvement of this special day.
